Same Time Next Week (Ch 50)

This is a long chapter but some things come to a head for Jackson and Shelby.

His first live show in... forever was orgasmic. Like a dream come true. Every time he got on a stage and let loose, it was like a religious experience, like being transported to another planet, another time, another place.

But now the show was over and it was time to get back to the real world, the world where the performance that night had highlighted areas where the band needed work. Songs that needed refinement. He had his work cut out for him.
